Adidas Football has just unveiled its new ‘Icons’ kit collection which includes a selection of vintage replicas from some of the top clubs and federations.
Overall, the collection is inspired by the 90s era of football, with a fresh wave of stylish jerseys that define style on and off the pitch. With that in mind, Icons explores a collection of retro looks that continue to blur the lines between athletic performance and streetwear.
Each kit has an oversized silhouette and glossy finish, with the highlight of the collection being the new Manchester United kit with faded black and blue details. In addition, the Italian national team’s home and away kits have been updated with solid color blocks, while the Real Madrid version features a new all-white design, reminiscent of Figo’s classic No. 7 jersey.
The collection also includes a new Celtic jersey inspired by the adidas uniform era. It reimagines the green and white look of Glasgow in the early 90s with a central crest and a diagonal front stripe. Another eye-catching CR Flamengo jersey with signature collar and team crest in the center front.
